The Youth Education & Entrepreneurship Program at Schneider Electric 'Conserve My Planet' initiative has garnered global recognition at the prestigious United Nations CSW68 event. Since 2011, the program developed by Schneider Electric Foundation India in partnership with SHARP NGO, has been implemented in 893 schools, providing training to 1,500 trainers and impacting 82,352 students across India. 'Conserve My Planet' is featured prominently in "55 Stories of Change”, a compendium of inspirational narratives curated by the Generation Equality Feminist Action for Climate Justice (FACJ) Action Coalition of UN Women. The collection is testament to collaborative efforts for a gender-equal green future. Launched in India, 'Conserve My Planet' provides a platform for students to learn about crucial concepts like energy conservation and renewable energy and to actively engage in hands-on activities. One of the most unique feature of this program apart is the unwavering commitment to gender equality. We're empowering girls from a young age, encouraging them to take leadership roles in the energy and environmental sectors, shaping them into true Green Ambassadors. This recognition highlights our commitment to a gender-equal, sustainable future for a greener tomorrow.
