Importance of Regional/Local food (POSHAN MAAH 2021)

This webinar was part of the  “ Rashtriya POSHAN Maah’2021” to intensify behaviour change efforts required to comprehensively address the problem of malnutrition as envisaged under POSHAN Abhiyaan. As Theme 3 includes Distribution of ‘Regional Nutrition Kit’ to Anganwadi beneficiaries of High Burdened Districts"  celebrated from 16th – 23rd September which broadly focussed on importance of regional/local food .


As the theme  explored the importance of eating regional foods and the nutritional benefits of the same. We  talkeed about the implementation of government policies at a local level, by getting the perspective of a policy maker as well as a social worker who can talk about the ground reality of the situation.

Participants joining through Zoom were encouraged to share their thoughts and discuss their problems also for the benefit of others.
