Mental Health is one important aspect of health which is often neglected and there is a taboo associated with it. There is growing evidence of increased psychological problems in children and adolescents especially behavior problems and suicides. It is estimated that around 20% of the world adolescents have a mental health or behavioral problem. Upto 50% of these have their onset during adolescence. SHARP is taking an important step towards addressing this issue among children by conducting awareness programs in schools for students and teachers. This is an attempt at normalizing Mental Health and creating a platform wherein people can express their problems freely.
